New Massacre: 21 Palestinians killed in Israeli airstrike on mosque in Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Twenty-one people were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting a mosque-turned shelter for displaced Palestinians in Deir Al-Balah, central Gaza Strip, early Sunday morning.
Local sources reported that it took paramedics and civil defense crews close to three hours to remove the bodies because of the sheer level of damage that was caused.
The targeted mosque is located across the street from Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and was hit by the Israeli military at about 2am local time.
Israeli fighter jets dropped bombs and severely damaged the facility and the properties in the surrounding area, including many department stores on the main road.

The Israeli military claimed the mosque was being used as a Hamas “command and control complex”. However, it offered no evidence for these claims.
