New Israeli bill shrinking visits of Palestinian prisoners to one annually

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Knesset member Itamar Ben-Gvir introduced a bill that would tighten restrictions on Palestinian political prisoners in Israeli jails and allow them a maximum of one annual visitation by one close family member.

The bill states that any prisoner categorized as a “security prisoner”, who are usually Palestinian political prisoners, not be provided with any kind of meat, fish, or chicken while in prison. In addition, they will only be eligible to receive visits from immediate family members once a year.

Ben-Gvir claimed that the bill comes to “put an end to the favored conditions for security prisoners in Israeli prisons.”
