New documentary reveals ‘Israel’ weaponized fanatic Christian evangelicals to strip away 1st amendment rights of Americans

Washington (QNN)- A new documentary has revealed how the occupation state of ‘Israel’ weaponized American fanatic Christian evangelical groups in order to strip away the first amendment rights of US citizens as part of its international crackdown on the BDS movement.
A new documentary, titled ‘Boycott’ and directed by Julia Bacha, revealed how efforts, led by the Israel lobby and Israeli authorities, promoted anti-BDS laws requiring businesses and individuals to pledge not to boycott ‘Israel’ or else they would lose all public contracts. 33 states adopted the law, denying their citizens freedom of speech.
CNN interviewed the director of the documentary, Julia Bacha, and Arkansas newspaper publisher, Alan Leveritt, who rejected to sign the pledge.
Bacha stated that with help from the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC), ‘Israel’ was behind anti-BDS laws in 33 US states, violating the right to free speech.
Former Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu, boasted on his Twitter account about being behind the laws.
“What we learned is that in addition to traditional Israel lobby organizations, there is the growing organizing of conservative right-wing evangelical groups”, Bacha said.
“This is a growing movement that has gained incredible political power across the country and they were very engaged and involved in advocating and lobbying for these bills to be passed.”
Anti-BDS laws can be really troubling, according to Bacha. “What we are seeing right now is that governments like the state government of Texas has already passed new bills that now condition public contracts on people promising that they won’t boycott fossil fuels or that they won’t boycott the firearms industry. So, they’re using the model bill that was created and passed with bipartisan support… to now attack the ability of Americans to fight climate change, the ability of Americans to demand change to gun laws in America.”
