Netanyahu Resumed War on Gaza After Trump Approved Egyptian Plan for Reconstruction

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has resumed the genocidal war in Gaza following reports that the Trump administration approved an Egyptian plan aimed at ending the war and rebuilding the strip, reported Maariv referring to another report by Sky News. The plan, which includes the reconstruction of Gaza without a mass transfer of its population, was reportedly approved with two key conditions: the removal of Hamas from power and the disarmament of Gaza.

According to the report, the Trump administration gave initial approval for the plan, pressuring Netanyahu to accept the proposal. The plan is expected to be discussed at the end of March, with U.S. and Egyptian officials set to finalize the reconstruction timeline.

Egyptian Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry presented the plan during a meeting with over 100 foreign ambassadors and international organizations. The plan aims to ensure Palestinian ownership of the recovery process and establish a non-partisan committee to manage Gaza during the transition.

The plan has gained broad regional and international support, with Egypt now organizing a conference in Cairo to secure the necessary funding. Additionally, there is a proposal to the UN Security Council to establish an international presence in Gaza and the West Bank, potentially including peacekeeping forces to oversee the creation of an independent Palestinian state.
