Morocco and Israel to open diplomatic mission
Rabat (QNN)- Following the normalization deals with Israel, diplomatic missions in Tel Aviv and Rabat will open within two weeks, Moroccan Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita said on Tuesday at a press event Palace of Hospitality in Rabat, hosted by King Mohammed VI.
Bourita also stated that Morocco and Israel will soon launch direct flights to one another.
“Morocco and Israel are making huge strides on their commitments to resume full diplomatic relations, promote economic cooperation and to reopen their liaison offices very quickly,” White House Senior Advisor Jared Kushner said.
“This trip has captured the imagination of Israel, especially of the over one million Israelis of Moroccan descent,” Kushner added.
On Tuesday, a joint American-Israeli delegation arrived Rabat to discuss in detail Israel’s normalization deal with Morocco and mark the advancement of the normalization of ties.
