More civilian casualties reported on Gaza as Israel’s war of genocide enters 114th day

Gaza (Quds News Network) – As the relentless Israeli genocidal offensive on the Gaza Strip enters its 114th consecutive day, at least 20 civilians were confirmed killed over the last hours, with several others injured, in a series of aerial and artillery strikes across the enclave.
Reports from Gaza City revealed that Israeli warplanes directed their firepower at a residence owned by the Salmi family in the al-Zaytoun neighborhood. The result was the tragic loss of at least eight lives, accompanied by numerous injuries, while additional individuals are feared trapped beneath the debris.
In the southwest of the city, the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood experienced a series of Israeli airstrikes, while western areas of the city also came under attack, resulting in the death and injury of numerous civilians, including children and women.
Meanwhile, in Khan Yunis, a fatality and four wounded individuals were admitted to Nasser Medical Hospital. The casualties were a consequence of artillery shelling by Israeli occupation forces on a residential property in the Joura Al-Aqad area, situated to the west of the city.
Concurrently, reports from medical sources indicated casualties among civilians due to artillery shelling directed at the Al-Amal neighborhood in Khan Yunis.
Furthermore, Israeli artillery targeted various locations in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to health sources, 30 unidentified bodies of victims remain in the morgue at Nasser Medical Complex, awaiting burial. Additionally, 150 victims were interred in the complex’s courtyard last night, a response to the Israeli military siege that restricted access to the hospital.

Since the outbreak of the Israeli aggression on October 7, the toll on Gaza has been staggering, with 26,257 lives lost, predominantly civilian, and 64,797 individuals sustaining injuries.
Compounding the tragedy, nearly 2 million people have been forcibly displaced from various parts of the Gaza Strip. The majority of these displaced individuals have sought refuge in the densely populated southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, constituting the most significant mass exodus in Palestine since the Nakba of 1948.
