Mass arrests in West Bank & Jerusalem, fisherman wounded in Gaza

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Confrontations erupted again in occupied Jerusalem and throughout the West Bank last night. Two citizens were wounded.

Local sources said that two Israeli policemen were wounded, while two citizens got wounded during the confrontations at Hittah gate in occupied Jerusalem last night.

Confrontations erupted at Bab Al Amoud after Israeli sources attacked citizens, who were sitting there. Eyewitnesses said Israeli forces arrested the paramedic Lu’ai Ja’afreh and Areen Za’anin.

According to Al Qastal website, Israeli authorities released Ja’afreh on the condition of remaining on house arrest for five days and not visiting Bab Al Amoud for 15 days.

In the same vein, an undercover unit arrested a young man from the city’s light rail.

In the West Bank, confrontations erupted between Israeli forces and locals at the entrances to Al Bireh and Bethlehem cities.

Local sources said Israeli forces arrested a young man at the entrance to Bethlehem.

Locals targeted a military tower at the entrance to Beit Immar with Molotov cocktails.

Israeli forces also raided Beit Urif in occupied Nablus and used stun and tear gas bombs against locals.

In the same context, confrontations erupted during an Israeli raid into Askar camp in eastern Nablus and arrested Abdullah Bashkar and took him to an unknown place.

Israeli forces also arrested Ahmad Salah and Khalil Salah after breaking into their houses in Bethlehem. They also arrested Muhammad Abu Safiyyeh from occupied Hebron.

Meanwhile, Israeli settlers continued their attacks on native Palestinians. A group of Israeli settlers stormed Beit Exa and burnt locals’ cars and painted racist slogans on the walls of the village’s houses.

In Ni’lin, locals confronted Israeli settlers, who started leveling the village’s lands under the protection of the Israeli army.

In Gaza, local sources said Israeli forces shot a fisherman with a rubber-coated metal bullet during a random shooting at fishermen.

The Israeli army claimed that two missiles were fired from the Gaza strip at surrounding settlements.
