Malaysia calls for intervention to stop vicious Israeli aggression against Palestinians
Malaysia (QNN) - Malaysian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Saifuddin Abdullah, has called upon the United Nations and the Organization for Islamic Cooperation to intervene to stop the atrocities committed by the Israeli occupation against the Palestinian people and al-Aqsa mosque.
Abdullah said in a press conference in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, that he is to call a few foreign ministers whom he thinks could play an active role in convincing the Israeli authorities to stop their aggression against the Palestinians.
He also warned against a repeat of the scenario that took place last year.
"Malaysia, despite being a small country, will try to talk to other countries as well as international organizations to stop the continuation of atrocities committed in Palestine," Abdullah added.
The number of amputees in Gaza Strip, already between 5,000 and 6,000, is expected to rise as Israel continues to restrict the entry of much-needed aid, including medical supplies, into the war-torn enclave, a humanitarian organization has warned. The alert comes after two years of genocide and despite the so-called US-backed ceasefire.
