Life of two Palestinian prisoners in danger due to Israeli medical negligence

Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Chief of the Prisoners and Former Prisoners Affairs, qadri Abu Baker, warned Sunday that the health condition of ill prisoners, Bassam Sayeh and Sami abu Diak, has been deteriorating.
He stated that both prisoners could die any time as a result of the Israeli systematic medical murder, which has been used against the prisoners.
Abu Baker said that the condition of Sayeh is one of the most dangerous conditions in Israeli jails. He suffers from liver enlargement and weakening of the heart muscles in addition to accumulation of fluid in his lungs.
“Sayeh has is in a very hard and dangerous condition and he has been suffering for years from Leukemia and bone cancer in addition to chronic heart disease”, he added.
The committee also warned of deterioration in the health of Sami Abu Diak, who has been suffering from cancer for three years, and he was “subjected to a deliberate medical error in Soroka Israeli hospital, where a part of his intestine was excised, causing him toxicity and lung and kidney failure”, according to Abu Baker. “After that, he had three surgeries and was kept under anesthesia for a whole month”.
Israeli forces had arrested Sayeh in October 8th, 2015. He has been subject to very tough conditions. While Sami Abu Diak was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to three life imprisonments and 30 years.
