Kuwaiti singer wears Palestine t-shirt during London show

London (QNN)- Kuwaiti singer Humood Alkhudher surprised the audience on Saturday during a show in London, showing up on stage wearing a t-shirt on which Palestine is written in both Arabic and English.

The 33-year-old Kuwaiti singer and music producer showed up on stage on Saturday while wearing a t-shirt on which Palestine is written in both Arabic and English as a form of solidarity with the Palestinian people during a show held in London.

The show was a part of the 18th annual Palestine Festival which was organized by the Palestinian Forum in Britain (PFB) in London’s Byron Hall, Harrow.

Prominent Irish lawmaker, Richard Boyle, and a number of international artists including Alkhudher, Palestinian singer Kefah Zreeqy, British-Iraqi rap star Lowkey and Palestinian-American singer Waheeb Nasan attended the show to entertain the crowds.

PFB Chairman, Zaher Birawi, said the festival is very important for the revival of Palestinian culture and the affirmation of principles related to the Palestinian cause; including the status of Jerusalem as the eternal capital of Palestine and the right of Palestinian refugees to return to their homeland.

General director of the festival, Adnan Hmidan, said that this year’s event is held under the slogan: ‘Palestine is in my heart,’ to affirm the strong connection between Palestine and Palestinians, regardless of the long distances between them.
