Killed upon release… Handcuffed bodies of 3 aid guards found in Rafah

Gaza (Quds News Network)- Red Crescent paramedics on Sunday recovered handcuffed bodies of three aid guards east of Rafah City, after they were executed by the Israeli occupation forces immediately following their release.
Local sources reported that civil defense personnel recovered the bodies of three victims from Karm Abu Salem crossing in the southern Gaza Strip on Sunday morning. The victims, who were found handcuffed, had been targeted immediately after their release.
On Saturday, the Israeli occupation forces deliberately killed and injured several Palestinian detainees as they were being released east of Rafah, in the southern Gaza Strip.
According to local sources, the Israeli forces fired an artillery shell at a group of recently released prisoners east of Rafah City. The released prisoners, who were securing aid trucks, had been detained four days earlier while they were in Gaza Airport area east of Rafah, waiting for the arrival of aid trucks.
One of the surviving detainees from the attack said, “A few hours ago, the Israeli army released about 15 Palestinians who were securing aid trucks. We were detained four days ago while we were in Gaza Airport area east of Rafah, waiting for the arrival of the trucks.”
The released detainee added, “As soon as we reached the paved road in Rafah City, Israeli soldiers fired a shell at us, resulting in the death and injury of about seven people, while the remaining workers fled the scene.”
Regarding their conditions in detention, he stated that “the army began physically torturing them, insulting them by throwing them to the ground, walking over their bodies, and urinating on them.”
Multiple times, the Israeli army has targeted those working to secure the entry of aid into the Gaza Strip, either through direct shelling or shooting.
On June 20th, the Israeli army bombed a gathering of merchants and protection committees who were working to secure aid on Salah Ad-Din Street, east of Rafah, leading to the death and injury of several individuals.
