Khaled Mashal elected as Hamas leader abroad

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas announced on Monday that Khaled Mashal has been elected to lead the movement abroad, and Musa Abu Marzouq has been elected as a deputy president.
The movement said in a statement issued on Monday that the election of Mashal came as part of the movement’s internal elections, which are organized periodically.
The statement added that Hamas is proud of the democratic process inside the movement.
The movement had announced on March 10 that Yahya Sinwar was elected to lead it in Gaza.
