Just 4% of Israelis Believe Gaza War Aims ‘Fully Achieved’: Poll

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israel’s Maariv newspaper has released a survey assessing Israeli public opinion on the assault in Gaza, revealing that 57 percent of Israelis believe the war objectives have not been “fully achieved,” while 32 percent feel they have “not been achieved at all.”
According to the poll, carried out by Lazar Research, only four percent of respondents said Israel’s war aims have been “fully achieved” in Gaza.
For the past 15 months, Israel has been carrying out a genocide in Gaza, with full backing from the United States. During this time, Gaza’s infrastructure has been completely obliterated by Israeli airstrikes and ground operations, and more than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed, the majority of whom were women and children. The destruction has been so extensive that entire neighborhoods have been reduced to rubble.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had previously outlined three goals for the assault: eliminating Hamas, securing the release of Israeli captives in Gaza, and ensuring that the Palestinian enclave would not pose a threat to Israel’s security.
