Judicial decision to release suspects in Israa Ghrayeb’s murder
Occupied West Bank (QNN)- Bethlehem’s Court of First Instance on Wednesday decided to release three suspects accused of allegedly torturing and murdering the 21-year-old make-up artist Israa Ghrayeb.
The lawyer of the suspects Khaled Amr said the court decided to release the suspects on a 10,000 JDs bail for each of them. The court session will also continue to be held.
Three members of Israa’s family had been detained for beating the 21-year-old lady to death.
The Palestinian Attorney General Akram al-Khatib had announced at the time that “Israa’ was beaten and had suffered from domestic violence, but unfortunately she didn’t talk about it”.
He added that she was subjected to physical and psychological torture, as well as, charlatanism, which caused her death.
