Jordan: We do not recognize Israeli judiciary in Palestinian territories

Amman (QNN)- The spokesperson for the Jordanian ministry of foreign affairs, Deifallah Al Fayez, on Tuesday said that Jordan does not recognize the Israeli judiciary in Occupied Palestinian Territory (OPT) according to international law.
Al Fayez said in a press statement that the Israeli attempts to forcefully evacuate the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in the eastern part of occupied Jerusalem amounts to a war crime and they are a part of the suffering that the Palestinian people have been living.
He added that Jordan will remain the solid rock, on which Palestinian can depend, stressing that ‘Israel’ has no authority in occupied territories according to international law.
Jordan had presented more documents for the residents of the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, proving that the Jordanian authorities had started transferring the ownership of Sheikh Jarrah lands before the 1967 war.
