Jordan strongly condemns Israeli storming of al-Aqsa Mosque
Amman (QNN) – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned Israeli police and special forces’ storming of Al Aqsa Mosque compound and attacking worshippers.
Ministry Spokesperson Haitham Abu Al Foul said the storming of the compound is a flagrant violation which is rejected and condemned, calling on the Israeli authorities to immediately pullback its police and special forces from Al Aqsa Mosque.
He warned of the consequences of such escalation, holding ‘Israel’ accountable for the safety of Al Aqsa Mosque compound and the worshippers.
Abu Al Foul called on ‘Israel’ to adhere to its obligations, as the occupying power, in accordance with international humanitarian law.
