Jordan imposes work permits on Palestinians form Gaza

(QNN) – The Jordanian parliament retreats from exempting Gaza Strip’s citizens living in Jordan from having to obtain permits to work in the country.

This came after the Jordanian Senate objected the parliament’s approval of the a draft bill on Tuesday exempting the children of Jordanian women married to foreigners, as well as the Gaza Strip’s citizens living in Jordan, from having to obtain permits to work in the country.

The Senate put down the bill and brought back the edited Labour Law into effect, which was later approved by the parliament.

The Jordanian Minister of Labour Sameer Murad pledged to issue a bill especially to exempt the besieged enclave’s citizens living in Jordan from having to obtain permits to work in the country.
