Jordan demands ‘Israel’ deliver body of deceased Jordanian prisoner
Amman (QNN)- Jordan on Wednesday demanded that the occupation state delivers the body of prisoner Sami Abu Diyak, who died yesterday due to the Israeli policy of medical negligence in Israeli jails.
Israeli media said the Jordanian embassy in Tel Aviv filed a request, demanding that the occupation state delivers the body of Abu Diyak to his parents in Jordan, so that they can bury the body of their son there.
It also stated that the embassy requested information on the circumstances of the death of Abu Diyak and his heath condition during arrest.
The family of Abu Diyak had urged the authorities in Jordan to help recover the body of their son, so that they bury it in Jordan instead of being held along with dozens of the bodies of other prisoners, who died in Israeli jails.
Sami Abu Diyak (36 years old) died yesterday in an Israeli jail due to the Israeli medical negligence policy.
He was arrested in 2002 and sentenced to three life sentences and 30 years in jail. He has been subjected to a deliberate medical error four year ago, which caused cancer and kidney and lung failure.
The Israelis did not allow his family to visit him until last week, when they were able to visit him for 20 minutes, however he was unconscious.
