Ivanka Trump’s ex-BFF says she complained about Arabic necklace as ‘it just screams terrorist’

Washington (QNN)- Ivanka Trump once berated her self-proclaimed former best friend, Lysandra Ohrstrom, for wearing a necklace inscribed with her name in Arabic. “It just screams, ‘terrorist’,” the so-called “First Daughter” is reported to have said.
Lysandra Ohrstrom, who once worked as a journalist in Beirut, said Trump “grew increasingly irritated” by her necklace, which spelled out her name in Arabic, after she began dating Jared Kushner, whose family is Jewish. “Sometimes, she would randomly say, ‘I hate that thing,’” Ohrstrom recalled. “Then one night in the middle of dinner, she glanced at the necklace and said, ‘How does your Jewish boyfriend feel when you are having sex and that necklace hits him the face? How can you wear that thing? It just screams, ‘terrorist.’”
In an essay published in Vanity Fair, Ohrstrom also described Ivanka’s ‘bratty’ behavior in high school, including blaming others in order to get herself out of trouble. Ivanka would also reportedly make very snobbish remarks in private.
Ohrstrom recalls that Kushner’s views and her pro-Palestinian stance soon “began to chafe”.
During that period in 2007, Ohrstrom said that she started to wear a necklace with her name written in Arabic. “Ivanka grew increasingly irritated by it,” she recalled. She was an intern at Al Jazeera English at the time.
38-year-old Lysandra Ohrstrom, a journalist for The Observer and Huffington Post, attended Chapin, which is an all-girls private school on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with Ivanka as a teenager. She had also been one of the two ‘maids of honor’ of Ivanka when she married Jared Kushner. Ohrstrom revealed that the two had been close until immediately after the wedding after which their friendship deteriorated.
