Israel’s violations continue: Shooting child’s eye, injuries, arrests

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- The occupation state continued its violations against native Palestinians in the West Bank and Jerusalem, shooting a child in his eye, wounding several locals, and arresting others on Friday.

Local sources said Izziddin Al Batsh (13 years old) has lost his eye after being directly targeted with a rubber-coated metal bullet by an Israeli sniper while he was at a shop in Hebron’s city center.

Video footage showed the child at a shop when the Israeli soldiers sniped his eye.

Also in other parts of the occupied West Bank, the Israeli army arrested Raed Oayyat (42 years old) from Beit Sahour in eastern Bethlehem after breaking into his house and vandalizing it.

The Israeli army also broke into the houses of the siblings Ammar, Mahmoud, Muhammad, and Ahmad Adeeb Musa and vandalized them before holding Ammar (39 years old) for over two hours.

In Hebron, the Israeli army arrested Rizq Rjoub (63 years old) after breaking into his house.

In Jenin, the Israeli army arrested two teenagers; Muhammad Ghassan Mansour and Ahmad Sa’di (both are 19 years old), after exploding the doors of their houses and vandalizing them.

In the occupied capital city, nine citizens, including a photojournalist, were wounded during Israeli repression of a weekly anti-settlement protest in Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood.

The Red Crescent said that nine citizens were wounded, four of them with rubber-coated metal bullets, including a photojournalist working for Al Quds Post. Five others were beaten by the Israeli police.

Meanwhile, dozens of suffocation cases have been reported, including children, during the Israeli repression of the weekly anti-settlement demonstration in Kafr Qaddum.

In Bethlehem, the Israeli army held two shepherds for several hours in Kisan village.

Both shepherds were held under the pretext of approaching a military zone.
