Israel’s Ben-Gvir urges settlers to ‘take up arms’, use them against Palestinians

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israel’s National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has encouraged settlers to “take up arms” and use them against Palestinians after visiting the scene of a stabbing operation near Tel Aviv, this morning.

“Our war is not only against Iran, but also here … We have distributed thousands of weapons to citizens in order to use them,” Ben-Gvir said as Israeli media reported.

“I call on citizens to take up arms and use them,” he said.

Ben-Gvir also lauded his office’s recent approval of 150,000 gun licenses in the last eight months.

Two Israeli settlers were killed earlier today in a stabbing operation; Israeli forces claimed it was carried out by a Palestinian man from the occupied West Bank who was shot dead by the Israeli forces.

The operation comes in response to a spike in Israeli attacks against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and Israel’s ongoing genocide war in Gaza.

Nine Palestinians were killed in two Israeli airstrikes on the city of Tulkarm on Saturday.

More than 8,000 Palestinians have been arrested by Israeli forces in the occupied West Bank since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on 7 October, according to Palestinian prisoner groups.

At least 603 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli raids in the West Bank since 7 October, according to the Palestinian health ministry.

At least 39,550 Palestinians have been killed in the Israeli military campaign in Gaza since the war began, according to the health ministry.
