Israel's Army says they will not allow Kamal Adwan Hospital to return to activity
Gaza (Quds News Network)- The Israeli military announced it will not allow Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza to resume operations, reported Haaretz. Israel claims that the hospital, destroyed and burned during an Israeli attack, had its operations transferred to the nearby Indonesian Hospital in Beit Lahia. However, reports confirm that Israeli forces set the hospital ablaze while some patients and 60 medical personnel were still inside. The forces expelled patients and displaced families, initially promising to transfer them to the Indonesian Hospital, but later redirected them to a different location.
For months, the Israeli army's 401st Brigade has focused on isolating northern Gaza from the rest of the strip and ethnically cleanse it. Troops recently invaded Kamal Adwan Hospital, as par a series of assaults targeting Jabalya.
The Israeli army stated that it interrogated 950 civilians most of whom are women and children, near the hospital, then claimed that 240 of them were resistance fighters.
The Kamal Adwan shutdown is part of a broader strategy to ethnically cleanse northern Gaza. Israel claimed that only a few hundred residents remain in the area. However, the UN estimates 10,000 to 15,000 civilians are still present.
Three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike targeting a vehicle in central Gaza on Thursday, including two civil defense workers, in another breach of the so-called ceasefire agreement amid continued daily attacks.
Israeli soldiers have been looting large amounts of civilian property from homes and businesses in southern Lebanon during the recent assault, according to a Haaretz report. The looting is widespread among Israeli forces, with similar incidents previously reported in Syria, Gaza, and during the previous assault in Lebanon.
