Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- The Palestinian police revealed Tuesday details regarding an Israeli tear gas grenade thrown at a school morning assembly in “Jawaharlal Nehru” school in Abu Dies in eastern occupied Jerusalem.
The police said in a statement that the principal of Jawaharlal Nehru high school filed an urgent report at a police station in south-eastern Jerusalem stating that a tear gas grenade was thrown by unknown persons at school children while they were during the morning assembly. The grenade exploded among the children.
“a police and detectives force immediately rushed to the area”, the statement said. “After search, investigation, and gathering of evidence, two children were suspected. They were brought and heard. They stated that they threw a tear gas grenade, which they found after the withdrawal of the Israeli army.”
