Gaza (Quds News Network) – Sheikh Yousef Salama, the former Palestinian Minister of Awqaf and Religious Affairs, and renowned preacher of Al-Aqsa Mosque, was killed today in an Israeli airstrike which targeted his residence in the al-Maghazi refugee camp located in the heart of the central Gaza Strip.

The assault, carried out by Israeli warplanes, resulted in the demise of Sheikh Salama and inflicted injuries upon several members of his family, local and medical sources said.

As the Israeli genocide campaign on Gaza persists, which commenced on October 7, the toll continues to rise, with more than 21,700 lives lost and approximately 56,000 individuals sustaining injuries. The aftermath leaves thousands unaccounted for, a significant majority of them being innocent children and women.
