Israeli soldiers wound journalist and arrest another for covering confrontations
Occupied Hebron (QNN)- One Palestinian journalist was wounded and another arrested by the Israeli army on Sunday, while they were covering confrontations at the northern entry to the occupied city of Hebron.
QNN reporter stated that confrontations erupted between Palestinian young men and Israeli soldiers following the Israeli repression of a peaceful protest, organized by students from the University of Hebron, in rejection for Trump’s plan.
Israeli soldiers used live bullets in addition to stun and tear gas grenades against the protesters, causing many of them to suffocate.
The journalist Muhsen Shalahdeh (27 years old) was shot in his head with a rubber-coated metal bullet, according to our reporter.
Medical sources stated that Shalaldeh suffers from a fracture in his skull. His condition is stable.
The Israeli army also arrested the journalist Muhammad Melhem while he was covering the confrontations.
