Israeli soldier killed in fuel truck ramming operation near Ramallah
Ramallah (Quds News Network)- An Israeli soldier was killed in a ramming operation carried out using a fuel truck near the illegal settlement of Beit El, in the occupied city of Ramallah, on Wednesday morning.
In a statement, the Israeli military confirmed the details of the incident, adding that the driver was executed. The driver has been identified as Hayel Deifallah (58 years old) from occupied Jerusalem. Several sources confirmed that he was injured and kidnapped by the Israeli army.
Israel Hayom reported that the Israeli military is investigating whether the fuel truck used in the attack may have been equipped with explosives, prompting the deployment of bomb disposal experts to the site.
Earlier reports from Israeli media indicated that two soldiers were injured in the attack, with one in critical condition, before the death of one soldier was later confirmed.
The attack, which involved a fuel truck, left several casualties, including a fatal injury, and the Palestinian driver was killed on the spot.
