Israeli shelling claims lives of five Palestinians in Gaza
Gaza (Quds News Network) — As the Israeli genocide campaign in Gaza marks 85 consecutive days, Israeli airstrikes targeted areas today in the southern and central regions, resulting in the loss of five Palestinian lives, according to reports from local and medical sources.
In the southern city of Khan Yunis, four civilians were brutally killed in the wake of an intense bombardment near the European Hospital, located southeast of the city, the sources said.
Meanwhile, in central Gaza’s Maghazi refugee camp, another Palestinian lost their life, while two more sustained injuries during heavy artillery shelling on a residential area. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society promptly responded, transferring the deceased and the injured to nearby hospitals for urgent medical attention.
As the Israeli aggression rages on, a preliminary toll reveals the devastating impact of the Israeli aggression now stands at over 21,500 victims, with approximately 56,000 injuries reported and thousands still missing. Shockingly, the majority of those affected are children and women.
