Israeli settlers near Gaza Strip demand their government to “restore calm”
(QNN) – Israeli settlers living near the Gaza Strip will demonstrate in “Tel Aviv” on Thursday, protesting the current security status, according to the Hebrew newspaper of Ynet News.
The newspaper said that Israeli settlers living near the besieged enclave say they have been suffering from Hamas rockets for 18 years and from “arson kites” since the Great Return March protests kicked off.
The “Tel Aviv” municipality has given the permission to the protest that demands the Israeli government to restore calm, the newspaper added.
An Israeli settler who will participate in the protest complained that that nobody cared for them as they had been under fire for years, and that they demand a new policy that would assure calm in the area.
The settler called on all the Israelis to participate because in the future every Israeli settler may suffer the same as those living near the Strip, she added.
