Israeli settlers chop off dozens of olive trees in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli illegal settlers on Sunday attacked groves of olive trees in the village of As-Sawiya in southern Nablus and chopped off 44 old olive trees.
The chairman of the village council, Murad Abu Ras, told QNN that Israeli settlers from the illegal settlement of Rehelim chopped off 44 old olive trees and stole some crops.
The trees are owned by farmers, who were shocked this morning to find that their trees were damaged and their crops were stolen.
He also told QNN that agricultural equipment of farmers from the village were recently stolen. 12 farmers have been robbed since the start of the olive harvesting season this year.
