Israeli settlers chop off 50 olive trees in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Local sources said that Israeli illegal settlers chopped off 59 olive trees in the village of Sawiyah in southern Nablus today.

Ghassan Daghlas, an official who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told WAFA that settlers from the illegal settlement of Rehelim, which was constructed on the lands of the villages of Sawiyah and Yatma, chopped off 50 olive trees owned by Ahmad Hakimeh.

Daghlas also said that the Israeli illegal settlers chopped off nearly 750 olive trees, while the Israeli occupation army prevented native Palestinians from harvesting the fruits of over 2000 trees in 2019.
