Israeli settlers attack Palestinian vehicles in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli settlers on Tuesday evening attacked Palestinian vehicles in Nablus city in the occupied West Bank.

Ghassan Daghlas, who monitors settlement activities in the northern West Bank, said a number of settlers hurled stones at Palestinian cars traveling on the road between Nablus and Tulkarem.

Another group of Israeli settlers also stoned cars near An-Naqura in the northwest of Nablus. Some vehicles got damaged in the attack.

No injuries were reported though.

Dozens of settlers rallied on the same day near the junction of the Gush Etzion settlement bloc and Fureidis village in Bethlehem.

Local sources said that Israeli occupation forces provided protection for the settlers, who carried flags and placards.

Settler violence against Palestinians and their property is routine in the West Bank and is rarely prosecuted by Israeli occupation authorities.
