Israeli settlers assault Palestinians in Nablus, bulldoze land in Northern Jordan Valley

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Extremist Israeli settlers on Sunday evening savagely beat up a number of Palestinian citizens in Qaryout village, south of the city of Nablus.

The official in charge of monitoring illegal settlement activity in the northern West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas said that a number of Israeli settlers, escorted by Israeli occupation forces, assaulted local residents in the southeast of the village.

In the same context, Israeli occupation forces fired tear gas canister and stun grenades towards the citizens. There have been no reports of injuries among them.

In addition, Israeli settlers razed swathes of Palestinian land in the occupied northern Jordan Valley.

Aref Daraghmeh, a rights activist, said that the settlers bulldozed aproxaimately 10 dunums of Palestinian land in the Khirbet Al-Farisiya area to expand a nearby illegal outpost that was built about a year ago.

Israeli settlers attack Palestinians on a daily basis across the occupied territories under the so-called “Price Tag” banner. Such attacks always go unpunished by the Israeli occupation authorities.

These attacks often include assaults on Palestinians, slashing tyres, painting anti-Arab slogans, in addition to the cutting down of trees belonging to Palestinian farmers.
