Israeli Rabbi suggests bombing Al-Aqsa mosque and blaming Iran
Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli Rabbi Yosef Mizrachi suggested bombing Al-Aqsa Mosque and framing Iran for the attack to incite conflict between Arabs and Iranians. Mizrachi’s remarks come amidst rising tensions and a series of aggressive actions by Israeli settlers at Al-Aqsa Mosque.

“If it were up to me, I would bomb Al-Aqsa Mosque and claim that a missile from Iran hit it to provoke a conflict between Arabs and Iranians,” Rabbi Mizrachi is reported to have said. This statement was made in a context of increased hostility towards Palestinian sites, as evidenced by recent events at Al-Aqsa mosque.
Last week, around 1,400 Israeli settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in one day, engaging in provocative rituals and chanting slogans disrespectful to the sanctity of the site. These actions were timed to coincide with what they claim is the anniversary of the destruction of a temple, an event not recognized by the international community or historical records.
The Rabbi’s comments also echo the Israeli government’s broader stance on Al-Aqsa mosque. Some Israeli officials and extremist groups have openly expressed a desire to demolish the mosque, citing unproven claims that the ruins of a Jewish temple lie beneath it. This ideology fuels the ongoing conflict and aspirations to replace the historic mosque with a structure of their own making.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque, one of Islam’s holiest sites, has long been targeted by Israel to provoke native Palestinians. Palestinian leaders and Muslim communities worldwide have condemned the increasing incursions by Israeli settlers and the inflammatory rhetoric from Israeli officials warning that such actions threaten to destabilize the region.
