Israeli police arrest guards and employees at Al Aqsa mosque

Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli police on Saturday arrested guards and employees of the Islamic Waqf at Al Aqsa mosque after attacking them inside the holy mosque.

Local sources said Israeli policemen assaulted guards of the Al Aqsa mosque inside the Dome of the Rock and arrested the employees Imran Al Ashhab, Imad Abdeen, and Hiba Sarhan (a female guard at the mosque).

The sources added that Israeli cops assaulted the employees after they tried to prevent the Israeli raid into the Dome of the rock.

Israeli authorities have been targeting guards and employees at Al Aqsa mosque in arrests and prevention from entry. Some of them have been prevented from entering the holy mosque for months while others were banned from entering the city of Jerusalem.
