Israeli plan to expand illegal settlement in Nablus

Occupied Nablus (QNN)- The PA official responsible for settlement in northern West Bank, Ghassan Daghlas, said that the occupation state is planning to expand the illegal settlement of ‘Shivot Rahil’ between Ramallah and Nablus.

Daghlas told WAFA that the occupation state submitted a plan to construct 534 settlement units on 376 dunums confiscated from the villages of Jaloud and Turmus Aya, which would increase settlement in ‘Shivot Rahil’ fivefold.

Daghlas added the Israeli plans aim at turning agricultural lands into houses and shops.

The occupations state is targeting southern Nablus in order to connect settlements and outposts and surround native Palestinians and prevent them from building.
