Israeli onslaught continues unabated: Dozens of Palestinian civilians killed and injured across Gaza

Gaza (Quds News Network) – As the Israeli genocidal onslaught on Gaza persists for the 142nd consecutive day, reports indicate that dozens of Palestinian civilians, including children and women, have fallen victim to Israeli airstrikes and gunfire in the last few hours.

Local and medical sources reported that renewed Israeli artillery shelling in the western areas of Khan Yunis, south of the enclave, and in the Sabra neighborhood in Gaza City has led to the murder of several Palestinian civilians.

In Gaza City, a Palestinian civilian was confirmed dead, and others sustained injuries in an Israeli airstrike targeting a residential home in the Shaaf area east of the city. Simultaneously, Israeli drones fired shots on the eastern neighborhoods of the city, coinciding with artillery shelling in the same area.

Simultaneously, local sources reported that Israeli warplanes bombed a residence belonging to the Kali family in the Sabra neighborhood of Gaza City, resulting in the heartbreaking death of three Palestinians.

Explosions resonated heavily in the Zaytoun neighborhood south of Gaza City, where Israeli tanks resumed their ground offensive in recent days after partial withdrawal from the area several weeks ago.

In Beit Lahia, northern Gaza, local sources have confirmed the martyrdom of one individual following an Israeli shelling of a house in the town, with several individuals still missing under the rubble.

In a continuation of the brutal attacks, two Palestinians were killed and four others injured in an Israeli shelling of the Al-Shati refugee camp west of Gaza City yesterday evening.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health has reported that the Israeli occupation forces committed eight massacres in Gaza in the previous 24 hours, resulting in 92 fatalities and 123 injuries among the Palestinian civilian population.

In a grim and ongoing toll, at least 29,606 Palestinians have lost their lives, and 69,737 others have been injured, predominantly women and children, since the start of the Israeli aggression on Gaza on October 7th of last year.
