Israeli officials call ICJ ‘antisemitic’ over rule against occupation

Occupied Palestine (Quds News Network)- Israeli officials hastened to express their anger over an advisory decision made by the International Court of Justice (ICJ) today regarding the occupation in Palestine, with some describing the court as ‘antisemitic.”
After presenting an advisory opinion in respect of the legal consequences arising from the policies and practices of Israel in the occupied Palestinian territory, Israel’s denied the Israelis are occupying Palestine, describing it as his “historical homeland.”
“No absurd opinion in the Hague can deny this historical truth or the legal right of Israelis to live in their own communities in our ancestoral home”, he added.
Israel’s National Security Minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir commented describing the court as ‘antisemitic’.
“The decision in The Hague proves for the umpteenth time that this is a distinctly antisemitic and political organization. We will not accept their preaching; the time has come for governance and sovereignty”, he claimed.
Minister of Settlements and National Missions, Orit Strook, described the court as “the theater of the absurd”, adding that the occupation state of Israel had already responded to the ICJ advisory opinion two days, when the Knesset voted against the Two-state solution, claiming that a Palestinian state is an existential threat.
“The theater of the absurd in The Hague:
In the first act, historical denial: The Jewish people have no right to their land, including Jerusalem.
In the second act, denial of reality: We are the violent side.
The Knesset responded to this disgrace two days in advance, determining (without opposition, except from the Arab parties) that a Palestinian state is an existential threat.
This is the position of the people of Israel”, she said.
The Israeli Finance Minister, Bezalel Smotrich, called for “Sovereignty now”, referring to annexing the rest of Palestine, in response to the ICJ’s advisory opinion. The same call was made by Israel Gantz, head of the Binyamin Regional Council and chairman of the Yesha Council, who added that the ICJ decision was “contrary to justice, the Bible, morality, and international law.”
Foreign Affairs Minister Israel Katz also described the decision as “fundamentally warped, one-sided, and wrong.” He added that the decision is “dangerous to the future: it plays into the hands of the extremists and it encourages the Palestinian Authority to continue on the path of defamation and baseless mud-slinging.”
