Israeli occupation forces detain 32 Palestinians, including mother of an alleged attacker

Ramallah (Quds News Network) – Israeli occupation forces detained last night and this morning 32 Palestinians, including the mother of a Palestinian killed by its forces after an alleged attack, today said Palestinian prisoners’ groups.
They said the forces detained at the East Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukabber the mother of Ahmad Illian, killed by soldiers last week following an alleged stabbing attack at a checkpoint south of Jerusalem.
Another woman was detained among 12 other people in the village of Qatana, in the Jerusalem district. The woman was detained as a hostage to have her sons turn themselves over to the army, said the groups. Most of the detainees were later released following interrogation at the location.

Detentions were also reported in the West Bank governorates of Nablus, Hebron, Bethlehem, Tulkarm and Ramallah, which brings the total detained by the Israeli army since October 7 to 4910, according to the prisoners’ groups.
