Israeli occupation demolishes Palestinian-owned house in occupied Jerusalem
Occupied Jerusalem (QNN)- Israeli occupation forces demolished on Tuesday morning a Palestinian-owned house in the Jabal al-Mukaber neighborhood, southeast of occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext of building without a permit.
Local sources reported that Israeli occupation forces, accompanied by two bulldozers, stormed the neighborhood of Jabal al-Mukaber and demolished a Palestinian-owned house where a family of four people, including two children, lives, at the order of the Israeli occupation municipality.

The Israeli municipality handed the family of Ihab al-Hussaini an order to demolish his house in the middle of February and gave him 21 days to carry out the demolition by himself, or its crews would demolish it and force the owner to pay the demolition costs.
The family, however, refused to self-demolish its own house, built in 2017, by itself, hoping that the demolition will not be carried out.
The Israeli occupation municipality forced the family since then to pay two fines, each amount of 45,000 Israeli shekels (app. $12,000), which were paid by the family.
Israeli cabinet minister, Itamar Ben-Gvir, issued orders last month to speed up demolition of Palestinian houses in occupied East Jerusalem under the pretext of building “illegally” without a permit.
‘Israel’ demolishes houses and structures on a regular basis to restrict Palestinian expansion in occupied Jerusalem, under the pretext of illegal building.
