Israeli occupation demolishes Palestinian-owned home in Bethlehem

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Israeli occupation forces on Wednesday demolished a Palestinian home in the village of al-Walaja in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem.

Local sources reported that Israeli bulldozers, accompanied by the IOF forces, razed a home in the Ain Gweizeh neighborhood in the north part of the village, under the pretext that it was built without a hard-to-obtain permit.

The sources indicated that the one-storey, 90-square-metre home belongs to a local resident called Ahmad Barghouth.

The Ain Gweizeh neighborhood has been fiercely targeted by the Israeli occupation authorities, including demolishing homes, issuing demolition and stop-work notices against Palestinian property, and razing swathes of farmland.

The Israeli occupation keep demolishing Palestinian homes and properties in the occupied Palestinian territories on the pretext of being built without license, which the Israeli occupation itself puts obstacles against it.

This process occurred for the purpose of expelling Palestinians out of their lands so as to take over them and judaize them.
