Israeli military court sentences writer to imprisonment and fine
Ramallah (QNN)- Israeli Ofer military court on Monday sentenced the writer Lama Khater Fakhouri (43 years old) from Hebron in the occupied West Bank to 13 months in jail in addition to paying a fine of 4000 Shekels.
The prisoners and former prisoners affairs committee said that it is expected for Lama Khater to be released in the next August.
Lama Khater is a mother of five children, writer, and journalist, who was arrested in July 2018 from her house in Hebron over a Facebook post despite of her child’s heartbreaking begging and crying.
