Israeli military buildup at Gaza borders on anniversary of Great Return March protests
Gaza (QNN)- Israeli tanks and troops gathered on the borders with Gaza in preparation to mass protests on 30 March to mark the one year anniversary of the weekly marches.
Such big military buildup brings to mind previous wars by Israel against the besieged enclave, which could be read as an intimidation by the Israelis, trying to minimize protesters.
The anniversary comes after a week of Israeli air raids in response to a rocket allegedly fired from Gaza at Tel Aviv.
Gaza’s Ministry of Health has said that Israeli snipers have shot over 6,500 protesters, killing more than 250 – including children, journalists and medical workers.
