Israeli media reveals targeting Gaza schools aimed at forcing civilians to empty areas
Gaza (Quds News Network)- Israeli media has revealed that recent bombings of multiple schools, sheltering thousands of displaced families in Gaza, were part of a strategic effort to force the evacuation of northern Gaza. According to Israel’s channel 12, the Israeli military has been attempting for months to clear this region but has faced resistance from Gaza’s population, who have largely preferred to stay resilient in their homes and refused to comply with evacuation orders.
The Israeli army views the depopulation and occupation of Gaza’s northern half as a critical objective in what it describes as a “war of consciousness” against Hamas. This is why Israel increased its bombing campaigns targeting schools in northern Gaza, which are currently sheltering thousands of displaced families. The bombings aim to terrorize civilians into leaving the area, conveying the message that no location is safe in northern Gaza.
Despite these intensified attacks, Gazans continue to resist forced displacement, prompting expectations of even more severe attacks in the coming weeks.
Describing all resilient citizens, who refuse to evacuate, as Hamas members and human shields, the Israeli channel says “Hamas is succeeding in its steadfastness. We must be more determined than the population serving as the “human shield” for the Hamas regime still functioning in Gaza City. Only the evacuation of a quarter of a million people from the northern Strip, south of the Nitzarim Road, will create the necessary shift to pressure Sinwar.”
