Israeli media: Iron Dome targeted Israeli jet by mistake during latest war on Gaza

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli 12 channel reported that during the latest Israeli war on Gaza, the iron dome targeted an Israeli F15 jet by mistake. The missile, fired from an iron dome battery, has been targeted and exploded in the air only a few seconds before reaching the jet.

The Israeli channel added that the iron dome fired a missile to confront a barrage of missiles fired by the resistance. Meanwhile, Israeli war jets were flying over the area.

The missile, however, diverted by mistake and started chasing an Israeli military jet.

The Israeli channel also reported that the jet has been hit by the missile’s shrapnel. The incident did not harm the Israeli pilots.

A spokesperson for the Israeli army said the incident was complicated and the Israeli army opened a probe to investigate it.
