Israeli media: IOF to create new assassination unit

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- Israeli media reported on Tuesday that the Israeli army is planning for creating a new assassination unit, which will carry out its operations in Lebanon, reported Walla Israeli news website.

The “Ghosts” unit, as the Israeli army named it, will focus on fighting during ground operations.

The Israeli website cited a source as saying that the unit was already created in 2019 in order to deal with the Israeli failures, which the Israeli army suffered from 15 years ago. The source added that the Israeli army is doing its best to avoid repeating the same failures in the next war with Lebanon.

The unit uses drones and other types of small jets, as well as secret communication technologies. It will carry out complicated operations against Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon.
