Israeli interrogator threatened Palestinian detainee that a crime will be committed against his family unless he confesses

Occupied Palestine (QNN)- An Israeli report revealed that the Shin Bet is practicing torture against Palestinian detainees from the 1948-occupied territories and threatened some of them that crimes will be committed against their families unless they confess.

A report by the Israeli journalist Raviv Drucker for the Israeli channel 13, revealed that Shin Bet interrogators obtained confessions from Palestinian detainees through torture and threatening. Some detainees have even confessed crimes that they did not commit due to the brutal forms of torture.

In one of the cases, the Israeli Shin Bet accused young men from occupied Jaffa of attacking an Israeli soldier last May. Confessions were obtained from the young men under torture. However, their lawyer was able to reach footage from street surveillance cameras proving that they did not attack the soldier.

One of the detainees, who were subjected to torture, revealed that he was threatened that if he doesn’t confess a murder will be committed against his family, which proves that Israeli authorities support armed gangs in Palestinian villages.

Another detainee said that the Israelis threatened him that if he doesn’t confess of whatever they tell him, he will be sent to administrative detention, which will be renewed every six months.
