Israeli forces wage campaign of detentions against many residents of Ya’bad in Jenin

Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Israeli occupation forces on Sunday at dawn waged a wide campaign of raids and detentions across the town of Ya’bad in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces detained several Palestinian citizens during the campaign.
The sources identified some of the detainees as Islam Abu Shamla, Islam Badarneh, Adham Abu Baker, Baha Abu Bakr, as well as ex-detainees Nidal Nafeat, Assad Kaniri, Ibrahim al-Kilani, Tariq Qabha, and Maysan Abu Shamla.
At least one youth sustained live bullets injuries by Israeli forces, while several others suffered tear gas suffocation during the fierce confrontations that erupted in the town.
In addition, the Israeli forces stormed dozens of houses in the town and destroyed their contents.
The Israeli forces also shattered the contents of several commercial stores in the town and robbed a sum of money from one of them, the sources confirmed.
In the same context, the Israeli forces broke into the eastern neighborhood of the city of Jenin and detained youth Solieman Abu Alya and Mohammed al-Lahuh.
According to Palestinian figures, about 4,850 Palestinians, including 34 women and 160 children, are currently languishing in Israeli detention jails.
