Israeli forces target journalists in Nablus

Nablus (QNN)- Israeli forces on Friday targeted journalists with rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs while they were covering protests in Nablus, wounding several of them.

QNN correspondent Najlaa Zaitoun and photojournalist Abdullah Bahsh were wounded. Zaitoun was shot with rubber-coated metal bullets while Bahsh got suffocated with tear gas.

Local sources added that the correspondent of Palestine TV, Bakr Abdel Haq also got shot with a rubber-coated metal bullet in his shoulder.

According to the sources, Israeli forces intensively fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas, and sound bombs at the residents and deliberately targeted journalists.

Residents of Beita, Nablus have been organizing weekly protests against the construction of an Israeli settlement outpost on Sabih mountain in the village.
