Israeli forces make 16 detentions among Palestinians during wide raids on Nablus
Occupied Palestine (QNN) – At least 16 Palestinian citizens were detained by Israeli occupation forces during wide campaign of raids on the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank.
Local sources reported that the Israeli forces broke in the early morning hours into the eastern area of Nablus and spread in the Ad Dahiya neighborhood and Kafr Qallil village.
The Israeli forces carried out raids and searches campaigns against several houses belonging to ex-detainees, as well as seized over some of their own vehicles, the sources added.
The sources indicated that some of the detainees were identified as Ziad Amer, Thaer Amer, Azmi Mansour, Firas Samara, Nayef Amer, Fadel Al-Kurdi, Adel Halawa, Rami Al-Quni, and Louay Amer, Mahmoud Hajja and Muen Salah.
Meanwhile, fierce confrontations have erupted between Palestinian youths and the Israeli forces on the Jerusalem Road, during which the IOF forces opened gunfire and tear gas canisters at the youths.
The confrontations resulted in the injury of a young man with a live bullet to the leg, as well as caused 23 others to suffer tear gas suffocation.
In a related context, some eight citizens have choked after a fire broke out in their building due to the tear gas canisters fired by Israeli forces.
The eight citizens were admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
