Israeli Forces Kill Two Women in Tulkarm Raid, One Was Pregnant

Tulkarm (Quds News Network)- Israeli forces killed two Palestinian women during a raid on Nur Shams refugee camp in Tulkarm on Sunday. The Israeli army also announced it was expanding its military operation in the northern West Bank.
One of the slain women was pregnant, and her husband was injured by Israeli gunfire. The second woman was killed when Israeli forces detonated the door of her family home.
The Israeli military confirmed the expansion of its operation in Nur Shams, claiming it had killed several people it labeled as “terrorists” and arrested others. Meanwhile, the Tulkarm Battalion of Saraya Al-Quds said its fighters clashed with Israeli troops and targeted military vehicles.
The assault on Tulkarm has continued for 14 days as part of Israel’s escalating attack in the West Bank. The latest raid coincided with the Israeli army’s withdrawal from the Netzarim corridor in Gaza.
Israeli forces have occupied several homes in Nur Shams and are warning residents not to return. Israeli bulldozers have also been destroying the camp’s infrastructure.
The Tulkarm Battalion claimed responsibility for detonating an explosive device targeting an Israeli military bulldozer in Nur Shams. The group said it had inflicted casualties and engaged Israeli forces with heavy gunfire and explosives.
Israeli bulldozers have devastated large parts of the camp’s infrastructure, while the army has reinforced its presence with additional troops and heavy machinery. Explosions and gunfire were heard inside the camp, as Israeli snipers and surveillance drones remained active.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that Israeli forces blocked its medical teams from entering Nur Shams despite reports of serious injuries.
On Saturday, Palestinians in Tulkarm held a funeral for an 11-year-old boy who succumbed to wounds inflicted by Israeli soldiers last week.
